We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team! This role will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, along with assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports, including monthly close processes and year-end audits
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Manage and mentor accounting team members, including performance evaluations and professional development
- Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with experience in SAP preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
