About the Role:
We are currently seeking for a Telecom Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems and equipment.
- Install telecommunications equipment, such as fiber optic cables, switches, routers and modems, ensuring that the equipment is properly installed and configured;
- Maintain and repair telecommunications systems and equipment, such as cable networks, internet systems, and WAN/LAN networks;
- Perform testing and diagnostic procedures on telecommunications equipment to ensure that they are working properly;
- Provide technical support to customers who are experiencing issues with their telecommunications systems or equipment;
- Document all work performed on telecommunications equipment, including repairs, and maintenance;

- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in a timely manner, and within budgetary constraints;
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, and ensure that appropriate safety equipment is worn at all times;

- Previous experience in a similar telecommunications technician role is preferred;
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems;
